COD Men’s Soccer: Ceranic signs letter with Eastern Oregon

COD Men's Soccer defender Faris Ceranic (Palm Desert H.S.) has signed a letter of intent with Eastern Oregon University.

Ceranic, the 6-foot 3, 160-pound freshman from Palm Desert H.S., played in all 21 games for Desert, starting 12 of them and was the cornerstone of a Roadrunners defense that collected five shutouts, including three clean sheets in Conference play.

Roadrunners Men's Soccer also collected some notable victories and games in 2021 as they defeated Norco, on the road, for the first time in program history, played Golden West for the first time since 2004 and played LA Mission for the first time since 1995.

Eastern Oregon University is located in La Grande, Oregon, which is about 75 miles south of the Washington-Oregon border and about 170 miles northwest of Boise, Idaho. The EUO Mountaineers play at Community Stadium and the team is coached by head coach, Jessy Watson, in his 4th season leading the Mountaineers. In the 2021 season, the Coyotes concluded the year with a 6-10 overall record, with a 6-7 record in Conference play, finishing the season in 9th place. EUO is in the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) of NAIA.
