COD Men’s Cross Country darts out to big finish in 1st event of 2023
COD had three runners participate in the first event of the 2023 season at Ted Craig Regional Park in Brea for the Biola University Invite, where Desert participants finished in 88th, 91st and 112th place on the 8-kilometer course.
Grabbing the top spot for Desert in Brea was freshman Gabriel Hernandez (Indio Shadow Hills), collecting an 88th place with a time of 30:58.0. Following closely behind was sophomore Emmanuel Lule (La Quinta H.S.), collecting 91st place with a time of 31:32.7. Freshman Anthony Perdomo (La Quinta H.S.) wrapped up the morning for the Roadrunners, finishing in 112th place with a time of 37:47.2.
The next event for Desert is at the SoCal Preview Meet at El Dorado East Regional Park in Long Beach on September 15th at 10 a.m.
