COD Men's Cross Country places 27th at SoCal Finals

COD had five runners participate in the final event of the 2023 season at El Dorado East Regional Park in Long Beach for the SoCal Regional Championship, where Desert finished 27th on the 4-mile course.

Grabbing the top spot for Desert in Long Beach was sophomore Emmanuel Lule (La Quinta H.S.), he dropped 5.3 seconds from his previous season best, collecting a 120th place finish with a time of 23:11.5. Freshman Anthony Perdomo (La Quinta H.S.), grabbed his second best finish of the season, collecting 169th place with a time of 29:55.0. Freshman Hector Jimenez (Thermal Coachella Valley), he dropped 41.8 seconds from his previous season best, collecting a 120th place finish with a time of 31:37.7.Freshman Gabriel Hernandez (Indio Shadow Hills) came in 173 with a time of 32:59.0. Sophomore Matthew Cuanetl (Rancho Mirage H.S.) wrapped up the morning for the Roadrunners with his second best finish of the season, finishing in 177th place with a time of 34:57.5.
