BANNING, Calif. - College of  the Desert women's golf compiled a total team score of 348 en route to placing second in yesterday's Orange Empire Conference match in Banning.

Sophomore Fumika Matsumoto (Japan/Chiba-Ketzai) led the Lady Roarunners with a score of 78, while freshman Yi Chen Tsai (Taiwan/Oversea) shot an 84.  Freshmen Kabrea Rosas (La Quinta, CA/La Quinta) and Nadia Herrera (La Quinta, CA/La Quinta) also contributed to the strong finish, scoring 90 and 96, respectively.

Women's golf has a quick turnaround, as they travel to Mission Viejo tomorrow morning for an 11 a.m. Orange Empire match.
