COD Women's Golf finished 6th at the two-day SoCal Regional Championship, with two golfers setting season bests, once the event had concluded, Desert would send two Roadrunners to the CCCAA State Championship.

The Roadrunners sent all four participants to its final team event of the season, the two-day SoCal Regional Championship. Desert traveled to the par-72, Simi Hills Golf Club in Simi Valley. Desert would finish with 689 points (342 / 347), which was 24 strokes ahead of seventh place finisher, Santa Barbara City. Mt. San Antonio would win the event with 628 points.

Sophomore Lehapi Veikune Taungahihifo (Rancho Mirage H.S.) who tied a season low on Sunday with a 72, then shot her bet round of the season on Monday, shooting a 71 to guarantee her a spot in the CCCAA State Championship. Freshman Kayla Speer (Yucaipa H.S.) would shoot her second-best round of the season in round one, shooting a 78, which also qualified her for the CCCAA State Championship. Sophomore Jensen Kelly (Imperial (SK) Imperial School) shot a 92 on Sunday, then dropped 11 strokes on Monday for her lowest score of the year, firing off an 81 in the final round. And sophomore Samantha Miller (Valley Center H.S.) wrapped up the event for the Roadrunners, shooting a 100 on Sunday and a 105 on Monday.

COD will make their next appearance at Hunter Ranch Golf Club in the Central California town of Paso Robles, the Roadrunners will make the six hour drive to play in the two-day CCCAA State Championship, which begins on Sunday, November 12.
