PALM DESERT, Calif. - College of the Desert women's soccer suffered a 5-0 setback against visiting San Bernardino in Tuesday's Foothill Conference matchup in Palm Desert.
Freshmen goalkeepers Elizabeth Moreno (Desert Hot Springs, CA/DHSHS) and Brianna Lazzarini (Indio, CA/La Quinta HS) were strong in net to keep the game tight, making one and 11 saves, respectively.
College of the Desert (7-7-1, 0-2) returns to action next Tuesday, October 20 when they travel to Victor Valley for a 2 p.m. Foothill Conference match.
