PALM DESERT, Calif. - College of the Desert women's soccer suffered a 5-0 defeat against visiting Foothill Conference foe Rio Hondo on Friday afternoon in Palm Desert.

Freshman Reyna Gutierrez (Desert Hot Springs, CA/DHSHS) had one shot on goal for the Lady Roadrunners, while freshman goalkeeper Brianna Lazzarini (Indio, CA/La Quinta HS) made eight saves in net.

College of the Desert (7-9-1, 0-4) will be back on the road next Tuesday afternoon when they travel to Chaffey for a 1 p.m. Foothill Conference match.
