Women's Soccer: Brianna Alcorn Signs with Southwestern (KS)

PALM DESERT, Calif. -- College of the Desert women's soccer sophomore Brianna Alcorn (Indio, CA/Indio HS) has signed to continue her playing and academic careers at NAIA-member, Southwestern, located in Winfield, Kansas.

"She has a very good work ethic," said head women's soccer coach, Garrett Estrin.  "She is extremely committed to her team, and I am very excited to see what she does at the next level."

Alcorn was a  two-year star on defense for the Lady Roadrunners, starting 33 of the 34 games she appeared in.  In her 2015 season, she netted one goal and added an assist, while being named Second-Team All-Foothill Conference.  

She was also a standout player on the softball diamond, as she was named First-Team All-Foothill Conference.  She led COD in batting average (.370), hits (37), runs scored (16), triples (3) and stolen bases (4), while tying for the team lead with one home run.  

Southwestern (KS) is a member of the NAIA and participates in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Association (KCAC).  For more information, please visit their athletics website here
