COD Women’s Cross Country has runner finish 53rd at Mesa Invite

COD had one runner participate in the third event of the 2021 season at NTC Park in Liberty Station, in San Diego for the Mesa Invite, where she finished in 53rd place on the 5 kilometer course.

Grabbing the top spot for Desert in San Diego was freshman Heather Hinton (La Quinta H.S.), collecting 53rd place with her fastest time of the season of a 23:39.7.

The next event for Desert is at the Mt. Sac Invatational at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut on October 15th at 10 a.m.
