COD Women’s Cross Country runs in final event of 2023
COD had two runners participate in the fifth and final event of the 2023 season at Morley Field at Balboa Park in San Diego for the IEAC Championship, where Desert participants finished in 23rd and 25th place on the 5-kilometer course.
Grabbing the top spot for Desert in San Diego was freshman Alma Guerrero (Cathedral City H.S.), collecting 23rd place with a time of 39:20.3, finishing 40 seconds faster than her previous best.
Finishing close behind was freshman Abigail Yanez (Banning H.S.), collecting 25th place with a time of 41:18.7.
